This past weekend, right in the heart of New York City’s Times Square, Vogue Knitting Live took place at the Marriott Marquis. This year, gosadi partnered with VKL to bring the designs you love from the screen to the stage. Floors 4,5, and (the main event) 6th became home to vibrant designs, cozy accessories, and a cat squish that stole the show and became everyone’s favorite photo op!
As Art Joinnides, co-founder of SoHo Publishing and Vogue Knitting Live!, explained in a recent gosadi interview exclusive, the original concept behind Vogue Knitting Live was “to bring the consumer together with their favorite designer”…” The marketplace is here to service the consumer with the ability to shop quickly.”
The gosadi designer showcase highlights that core value by featuring the designs and also making the patterns quickly available through QR codes.
Each featured design hung on mannequins along with scannable QR codes which allowed guests to instantly explore the patterns they love before heading to the show floor to pick up the required yarns and shop vendors. The talented featured designers are all Early Access users of the gosadi platform! Because not only is gosadi is built for designers, publishers and creators who want to spend less time on e-commerce backend busy work, but we are here to elevate and celebrate our design community. These showcases allow us to do just that!
Our goal is to give designers MORE TIME TO CREATE!™. In doing that, we also want to give makers more access to patterns they love.
